Who are we?
Moms in the Light is a group that provides moms an opportunity to come together to support one another, pray for each other, and build relationships with other Christian mothers and with God. The mission of Moms in the Light is to embrace all moms with the light of God's love. Our purpose is to support and encourage women in Life, Ministry, and Mission.
Life-- providing opportunities for personal spiritual growth and by building a broader circle of friendships
Ministry-- service to our Lord
Mission-- supporting local organizations and causes
Our guiding scripture is 2 Corinthians 4:6 "For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ."
What do we do?
We hold weekly meetings on Wednesday mornings throughout the school year. Babysitting is provided for a nominal fee. Our meetings focus on one of the following each week: Faith (Bible study), Fun (crafts and activities), Fellowship (discussion topics, building relationships, playdates), Family (speakers on marriage and family topics), Father's Work (service to others)
Can't make it to our morning meetings? Try Moms in the Light @ Night on Wednesday evenings.
We also host a monthly ladies night out, summer get-togethers, special events, and much more!
