The Edge Youth Group
Are you in 5th or 6th grade? Do you want to come to place where you can meet some new friends? Are you excited to grow in your relationship with Christ? Then come on out on Wednesday nights for our brand new 5th & 6th Grade Youth Group! Dinner begins at 5:45 (cost $3), followed by games in the gym, along with a youth group lesson or small groups in the blue youth room off of the fellowship hall.
"Living After The Cross" 2009-2010 Program Year
Nearly 2,000 years ago one man changed the course of human history forever. In the wake of his resurrection, we as believers have been called to carry our own crosses throughout life. What does it mean to carry our cross?
How did the early church carry theirs?
What, if any, are the similarities between the ancient world and the post-modern world?
In youth group this year we will be studying Paul’s letters to the early Christian churches. We will talk about what issues they dealt with while “living after the cross.” And see how that connects with our issues today.
Things like: "Persecution," "Pluralism," "Sharing Your Faith," Discipleship."

The Edge Mission Project July 5-7, 2010
Calling all 5th & 6th graders! This summer we are doing our first ever “The Edge” Mission Project from July 5-7, 2010. Join Ms. Karen DeHeer and Ms. Jennifer Towery as they lead this year’s mission project in Peoria! We will start our time together with worship on Monday morning followed by group activities and service projects throughout the church and wider community.
