Welcome to Northminster Presbyterian

Are you new to Northminster? Welcome to our Church. We are a fast growing and lively congregation on the north end of Peoria. This website should give you a good picture of who we are and what we are about. But it is hard for a website to reflect all that is going on in a congregation like ours. The best way to experience the vitality God has blessed us with is to see it for yourself.

We invite you to join us for Sunday morning service or a Wednesday @ NPC.

Choose a Service

Worship is at the heart of Northminster. One of our confessions says "the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy him forever." We believe worship to be an enjoyable experience. But more than that, we believe human beings were created to worship and we are at our best when we worship. However, different churches have different ways of worshiping God. We hold three services on Sunday and offer something different in each service.

8:15 am Worship Service (Blended Worship)
9:45 am Worship Service (Blended Worship), Sunday School/Discovery Groups
11:00 am Worship Service (Contemporary Service)

5:15 p.m. NYC Choir Rehearsal
5:15 p.m. Bell Choir Rehearsal
5:45 p.m. Meal
6:30 p.m. NPC Kids Club
6:30 p.m. Followers Course & Bethel
7:00 p.m. HeartSong Rehearsal
7:30 p.m. Clean-up & Closing

Got Kids?

Our nursery area is located to the left of the sanctuary. A safe and loving environment is available for your children (birth to 2 years).

Preschool age children are invited to Sunday School at any of the three worship hours. Preschool classes are held in an age-appropriate setting. Elementary aged children are invited to Sunday School for first two worship services only. Elementary classes are located in the Sunday School wing.

After Service

We invite you to:

  • Meet our church family and shake hands with our pastors and church leadership
  • Linger for a cup of coffee in the welcome center or gym
