I grew up in Fairview Heights, IL. I received my undergraduate degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southwest Missouri State University, now Missouri State University. I practiced as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist for over a decade assisting individuals with disabilities in various settings. I received my MBA from Webster University in St. Louis. I am a garden junkie! I love the outdoors, traveling, down time, and family time. My husband, Ben, and I have a son, Brayden and a daughter, Abigail and a spirited boxer mix, Scout. Our family stays active with visiting family, scouts, and sports.
