Your reunion group or a small accountability group is the most important part of your Fourth Day. Be diligent in setting one up and be faithful to it. Don’t be afraid to change groups if you do not feel comfortable in the group you join.
You may not be on a team right away, but you can serve the community and express your support by working in the kitchen, helping with agape or on one of the support committees.
The Candlelight on Saturday night and the closing on Sunday night are open to all that have attended a Banquet/Awakening/Emmaus/Cursillo/TresDias/Koininia. Those who have not attended one of the above are welcome at Banquet gatherings, such as picnics, etc. Children should not attend the candlelight or closing but are welcome at Gatherings and other family events.
There is a desire in each of us to want to be near the heart of the Great Banquet because we have wonderful memories of our own experience, but remember the weekend is for the guests. They are at the church to remove themselves from their day-to-day contacts and circumstances. The Fourth Day Community needs to respect this aspect of the Great Banquet.
If you are working in the kitchen or agape, or in the building for any reason, we ask that you limit your contact with the guests as much as possible. No one, other than the kitchen crew and servers, should be in the dining area with the guests and team members.
The Great Banquet is an instrument of Christian renovation. Its purpose is to train people who will become solid leaders in their own churches.
