Our mission is to reach out with God’s love to meet the needs of families. We do this through the development of Christ-centered educational programs that support and strengthen families, provide a warm and nurturing environment, and reflect the vision and mission of Northminster Presbyterian Church. Curiosity Corner

(Ages 24-36 Months)

Curiosity Corner is a class offered to toddlers to develop cognitive, language, social, and motor skills. Toddlers 24 to 36 months are divided into age-appropriate classrooms where our “toddler preschool” offers children opportunities to play, learn and explore in a safe Christian environment. Children follow a structured daily routine that emphasizes independence, free-choice, and participation in group activities. Our program runs 8:30–11am two or three days a week.

Discovery Preschool

(Ages 3-5 years)

We are proud to provide the finest preschool program in the area! Our preschool is a unique program offering children opportunities to develop cognitive, spiritual, and social skills through a variety of research-based practices. We offer both half-day and full-day preschool with options from 3 to 5 days a week.

Full-day Kindergarten

(5 years old by Sept.1)

We are seeking to return Kindergarten to what it truly and developmentally should be. With a firm focus on preparing our students for first grade, our classroom has woven into its daily schedule ample time for the children to spend in classroom centers where true, play-based, practical learning takes place. This is a program for children who are kindergarten eligible or those looking for a "redshirt" year.

Afterschool Care

(Dunlap grades K-5th)

Children are able to spend time eating an after-school snack, doing homework and playing outside or in our large gym. This is a structured and fun environment for children in grades K–5, serving several Dunlap CUSD 323 schools. Our program runs from 3:00–5:30pm Monday through Friday. Transportation from school is provided.

Holiday & Summer Camps

(Grades K-5)

Holiday Camp: Similar to our After-school program, we provide a fun and stimulating program to any area child in grades K–5. Our program is available on any day that Dunlap schools are closed due to a holiday observance (Columbus Day, etc.) and runs from 7:30am–5:30pm.

Summer Camp: Grade School age children can spend their summer here at the NLC where they will enjoy a wide variety of fun and engaging activities all centered around a fun weekly theme. Field trips and swimming trips are provided on a weekly basis. Our program runs from 7:30am–5:30pm.
